Ihram preparation
Women do not use the two-piece male Ihram garment. Prepare modest, practical clothing for travel and worship, and understand when you will enter the state of Ihram. For detailed rulings that depend on personal circumstances, consult a qualified religious authority.
Tawaf and crowd awareness
Tawaf consists of seven circuits around the Kaaba. Plan for crowd conditions, stay aware of companions and follow on-site directions. There is no need to force your way through a crowded area to complete the rite correctly.
Sa'i between Safa and Marwah
Sa'i consists of seven one-way passages, beginning at Safa and ending at Marwah. Follow the mosque's directional signs and keep a manageable pace.
Completing Umrah
After Tawaf and Sa'i, women complete Umrah by trimming a small amount from the ends of the hair. Nusuk's current Umrah journey guidance describes approximately 1–2 cm.
